EGS Induced Seismicity-

Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory

Induced seismicity associated with enhanced geothermal systems (EGS) is a major research topic at present.  To access information on EGS induced seismicity, geothermal data and links to the Soultz (France) EGS development and the Geysers geothermal field,

click:  EGS Seismicity Information-LBNL

EGS Project Handbook- from Annex III Available

The Enhanced Geothermal System Project Management Decision Assistant (PMDA), developed through Annex III efforts, is still available.

To read an overview of the EGS-PMDA, click: IEA-GIA PMDA 2005.pdf

For further information, or to order the EGS-PMDA, contact: Thomas Mégel

Cost for purchase of the PMDA:  For Institutions in GIA Member Countries [Australia, France, Germany, Iceland, Italy,  Japan,  Mexico, New Zealand, Republic of Korea, Switzerland and the United States] and Institution/Industry Members [Geodynamics, Green Rock Energy and ORMAT Technologies] is:  US$ 220, including shipping.  For others is: US$ 300, including shipping.
